10ft Shipping Containers (One Trip / New)

Our range of one trip (new) 10ft shipping containers are available from multiple depots. We regularly have batches landing in Felixstowe and Southampton, which get distributed around the UK. With a very high spec build, and with green/blue colour options, if your looking for a long term site storage solution with not a lot a space available, you can’t go wrong with these.

These one trip shipping containers offer excellent long term value and should last anything up to a generation with considerate use. The factory fitted high security lock box gives added protection against intruders, whilst the extra high locking handles make these containers easier to open on the ground.

With double cargo doors on one of the smaller 8ft sides, this opens into a secure cargo space with a marine treated plywood floor. Some ranges are now arriving with eco friendly bamboo flooring. The top seal on our bamboo floor option also gives a non-porous finish meaning the floor will be resistant to small oil spills and similar. Different manufacturers can put either 4 or 2 locking bars on the doors as you can see in the pic to the right.

Whilst CSC plated at point of supply, its commonly not practical to ship a 10ft shipping container with freight in around the world. Most shipping lines will refuse to ship it and ask that you load the 10 ft onto a 20ft flat rack or platform container and then ship it as flat rack cargo. This will typically be a considerable amount more than shipping a standard 20ft shipping container. It might sound silly but shipping a half empty 20ft container will usually be a cheaper overall option.

All new 10ft shipping come with fork lift pockets as standard. Prices of 10ft new shipping containers vary depending on the dollar rate and on local geographical availability. With good notice at point of order we can move stock to suit (and hopefully reduce your costs!) Please contact us for a quote and availability details on this or any other range.

For static storage use we do also offer our range of refurbished 10ft storage containers. These are made by cutting down used 20ft or 40ft containers to site. They come with a lock box (padlock cover) and a repaint in your choice of basic colour. These can often come in at a singificant saving to the one trip options.

Please be advised that these are sold as ‘one trip containers’ and are not brand new. All of our shipping containers are built in the factory in China or the far east and have done 1 trip into the UK since new. Some minor cosmetic wear may be evident from this initial trip. Minor dents and scrapes are reasonably common, as are tire marks inside your container where a fork lift truck or similar may have unloaded goods from inside the container.

Technical Information for 10ft shipping containers

Please note whilst we have tried to be as accurate as possible, some measurements (notably internal measurements) can vary slightly with the development and modernisation of manufacturing techniques over time. We recommend considering a circa 1 inch (2.5cm) tolerance. Where possible we have given a range on known variations in dims between ranges but we can’t guarantee this to be totally accurate for all ranges. If you have a specific sized problem or item to load that’s near these dims please double check with us in advance and if needs be we will get someone to measure the exact container for you.
