Our made to order 15ft shipping containers offer fantastic long term value. Made from cutting down one trip (new) shipping containers which are typically 2-5 months old, as their name suggests, these ‘one trip’ containers have only done one trip over from the factory in China to our yard prior to being cut and shut to 15ft. All new containers come with a factory fitted, high security slimline lock box (padlock cover).

These containers can have a dent here or there consistent with their initial trip from China. Some paint scrapes around the end frames or forklift tyre marks inside are also common but otherwise these units are in immaculate condition and being cut down units our yards will so their best to rectify any obvious faults before they leave our depot.

One trip (new) containers offer fantastic long term value. If you’re looking for a 10+ year storage solution then we recommend new containers every time. New 20ft and 40ft one trip shipping containers are still the most popular options we offer but in some cases where 20ft is too big, a new 15ft cut down would be the ideal solution (we could also do an 11ft, 12ft, 13ft or 14ft for a very similar price) They are typically a slight premium on new new one trip 10ft containers due to the extra work involved in cutting the larger container down to size.

All our containers are checked over prior to sale and if any of our new containers take a big smash on their first trip to the UK they are not sold on as a normal new container (and may be offered elsewhere on the site at a discounted price – although its quite rare we get this type of stock in).

Forklift Pockets on 15ft containers

These 15ft containers are made by taking a one trip (new quality) 20ft or 40ft container and cutting it down to size. It will either not come with any fork pockets (this is the usually the case if we make your 15ft from a 40ft container) or its fork pockets will commonly be off centre (if we make this from a 20ft container)

If you need serviceable fork pockets for you to move this around yourself, its important to let us know at the time of the quote. We can do this by cutting a 20ft twice, or we can retrofit our own fork pockets into your 15ft container but its more work and will affect the price offered.
