We have a one-off collection of 20ft containers on sale in our London depot.
These containers have not been sourced directly from shipping lines or industry use (as is the case with our normal stock). These are generally older containers that we’ve purchased back from customers.
Being very blunt, these are the cheap, solid but old, probably rough and dented options. Hence we are offering these out as 20ft builders storage containers. Builders generally want a solid but cost-effective option to keep their gear safe whilst on site. If you don’t’ mind how your shipping container looks as long as secure and weatherproof, then we believe this is the cheapest good quality option available. All these 20ft storage containers are checked and repaired in our year before sale. You are guaranteed a wind and watertight shipping container, with good doors, door hinges and floor. Repairs will have almost certainly have been done to these 20ft builders storage containers. We strongly recommend that these are repainted and have included the cost for this in the price (in your choice of dark standard RAL colour). All of these storage containers are solid and sound.
That said this is not offered exclusively to Builders, they would also suit a lot of farmers and livery yards for hay and feed stores. These are also great for home renovation projects (storing your gear whilst you work on your house). Anyone needing a shorter-term secure storage option that isn’t going to be on display for visitors or customers to a site.
As with everything we sell these 20ft builders storage containers come with our 12-month wind and watertight guarantee, so if it were to spring a natural leak in its first 12 months let us know and we will come and fix it free of charge. If you damage the container this repair may not be free but we will always help where we can.
As these containers are older than our standard stocks you should expect a shorter overall lifespan. We suggest if your project is 5 years or less these are likely a very good buy. Repainting will be completed after order and can be to your own choice of standard dark RAL colour.
Our crane equipped trucks can offer delivery to any site (Subject to suitable vehicle access) – as these are in our London depot they will fit best for customers within 70 miles of our East London depot. (Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, South Suffolk and of course London locations)
