Product Description
These used 20ft flat rack shipping containers are usually used for specialised export use. If you need to ship something that can’t fit inside a normal shipping container, or that can’t be loaded through the end doors, then a flat rack shipping container might be what you need. With a minimum 6 month CSC plate for export use and a minimum 25 tonne max payload the individual specs of units can vary with regional availability and age so if you have any specific cargo requirements let us know.
If you can’t work with the ends on the containers we do also have platform containers that are usually held in our Rotterdam and Antwerp depots. These are very rare items but used when your item is to long for the container.
For domestic use we have come across a number of interesting uses for these used 20ft flat rack shipping containers, such as for use as bridges between farmers fields, or allowing an industrial operation to store and stack large items of machinery! Often customers want to fix an item to the flat racks and the move it around the UK on a truck. Flat racks can be great for slightly unusual uses, but it’s always worth getting in touch so we can discuss how you’re going to use it before getting a quote together for you.
