These one trip (new) 20ft high cube shipping containers are ideal for site storage or export use. However, at a premium over our standard height (8ft 6 high) containers these are recommended if you have to store or ship an oversize item that won’t fit inside a standard height container. You can see the full internal and external dimensions by clicking the technical tab above. They are very popular with building sites wanting to securely and anonymously store plant and machinery and also for conversion into boiler rooms or biomass plants.

Unfortunately, the major shipping lines & leasing companies do not use these containers in their own container fleets, and as such used or refurbished 20ft high cube containers are extremely rare. We will only be able to offer a genuine used container if and when a customer who has previously purchased a new one sells one back to us. We can make a refurbished 20ft high cube to spec but these come in only a snip less than the new price. Quite frankly though, the quality difference is significant enough that we recommend the new build units nearly every time.

These one trip 20ft high cube shipping containers are reasonably scarce when compared to standard height 20ft shipping containers. We have a range of suppliers that offer a slight difference in shades of green and blue and the numbers of vents and other minor specifications will vary. This gives us the best possible availability for an item, and usually means we have one locally to you which will ensure the most cost effective option. You can be assured that everything we sell will meet the specification offered and meet all international standards. Please be advised that these are sold as ‘one trip containers’ and are not brand new. All of our shipping containers are built in the factory in China or the far east and have done 1 trip into the UK since new. Some minor cosmetic wear may be evident from this initial trip. Minor dents and scrapes are reasonably common, as are tire marks inside your container where a fork lift truck or similar may have unloaded goods from inside the container.

Technical Information for 20ft High Cube shipping containers

Please note whilst we have tried to be as accurate as possible, some measurements (notably internal measurements) can vary slightly with the development and modernisation of manufacturing techniques over time. We recommend considering a circa 1 inch (2.5cm) tolerance. Where possible we have given a range on known variations in dims between ranges but we can’t guarantee this to be totally accurate for all ranges. If you have a specific sized problem or item to load that’s near these dims please double check with us in advance and if needs be we will get someone to measure the exact container for you.
