The racking kit example we have priced up below can be re-configured to fit other requirements, so if you wanted a different layout its all possible. Please contact us so we can discuss your needs.
To rack two sides of a 20ft refrigerated shipping container, the optimum shelving width is 900mm.
The internal length of the 20ft reefer is 5450mm meaning you’ll need a total of 12-shelving bays of 1800h x 900w x 525d (mm) to fill both sides of the container. And to fill the non-door end, you’ll need 1 bay that uses the 1200mm width shelving.
Cost to rack two sides and the non-door end of a 20ft refrigerated container is £5,207.00 + VAT
Our stainless-steel shelving comes in three sizes complete with 4-shelves each bay.
Option 1 – 1800h x 900w x 525d (mm) – costs £399.00 per bay + VAT
Option 2 – 1800h x 1200w x 525d (mm) – costs £419.00 per bay + VAT
Option 3 – 1800h x 1500w x 525d (mm) – costs £529.00 per bay + VAT

Please note this shelving kit fills both sides and the front end (non-door end) of a 20ft refrigerated shipping container. If you are planning to fit our a working refrigerated shipping container we recommend looking at kit 2 which does not come with the front end shelving unit. The reason for this, the heat exchanger outputs on many refrigerated containers will be on this front wall and you likely do not want a shelving unit blocking the air flow.
