Product Description
This 20ft storage container was sold to a customer some years ago and it has served them very well for storage use. They have now finished with it and we’ve purchased it back off them and taken this into our London yard.
As with everything we sell, this is checked and repaired in our London yard and is sold with our 12 month wind and watertight guarantee.
However, this is a fair bit an older than normal used / refurbished shipping container. Despite being sound and in good overall condition, we suggest this does not offer the same long term value that a normal used or refurbished shipping container will offer. Its likely to have a shorter serviceable lifespan as it has already been in use for a number of years by the previous customer. Hence this is likely ideal for a builder who may want to keep goods safe and out of the weather for a project that may last a year or two.
If you want long term value, we recommend that this is probably not the container for you, and our standard used or refurbished shipping containers are likely to last longer. Our one trip containers (new quality) will offer even better very long term value. These are all options to look at if you want 10+ years of solid use from your container. This ‘builders store’ container on offer is ideal if you only want your shipping container for a small number of years and if you want the cheapest price possible from a reliable, established container company.
This is a single container only, once sold we will not have other containers available at this price.
This specific container was made by cutting a 40ft container in half. This is nothing unusual and something we do regularly when making smaller storage containers. you can see the non – door end has a flat sheet of steel welded to it (This steel is at least as thick as the side walls, so there is no issue for security here) – but this does mean this is not suitable for export use, nor it is suitable to be lifted when loaded with goods. It has been built as a storage container only.
