This new style of tri-door shipping container is a great idea for those looking for better access. These Tri-door containers have a double door one the back end of the container and a single door on the front end. This would making it perfect for when you need to access stock/goods that would usually be behind other items you can now simply open either end for optimal access. Or if thinking about conversions you now have 2 spaces available as an example office space and storage space.

These are (new) one trip containers, which have usually been manufactured in china and have been used once with freight inside. They will not have been used in any domestic capacity or other imports and so are classed as new/one trip/fresh. Typically, these are 2-5 months old and we will receive a number of deliveries in a typical year.

We believe the new/one trip containers offer the best overall value giving around an average life of 15-20 years. They should also be much better looking than a traditional used container as they will not have been sat in a yard gathering rust and dents. With all our new containers we will provide a 12-month wind and watertight guarantee as standard. However you should be getting a lot more years of use from one of these containers. Please remember though that having made a trip from China all the way to you and as such they may have small imperfections from that initial trip.

Made from COR-TEN A grade steel (also called weathering steel) they are designed to reduce rust and erosion. Even in the event of rust it should still be non-porous and designed to keep water out making them extremely durable over long periods of time.

The main door located at the back of the container is a double door with three locking bars, one of those locking bars (on the right-hand side) being longer to allow for easier access due to the leverage applied, the single door on the front of the container has the same style easier access handle. Both doors are fitted with a lockbox housing around the lock to prevent access via a crowbar or bolt cutters for improved security.

Typically, these Tri-door shipping container’s come in at approx. £150 + VAT premium over the price of a standard 20ft container with double cargo door’s at one end only. it will also come in approx. £250 saving over a 20ft tunnel container that would have double cargo doors at both end of the unit. Getting us to fit a high security personnel access’s door wild commonly come in the £600-700 + VAT range. If you wanted an additional access door into your container, this is one of the best value ways to achieve this with a one trip quality container. This additional door is also very beefy and very secure. When a good quality padlock is used in the lock box, you will need some form of heavy cutting equipment to break into this container. We recommend considering a circa 1 inch (2.5cm) tolerance.
