Our refrigerated shipping container shelving is made of stainless steel and is ideal for use in hygiene important areas such as commercial kitchens, cold rooms, hospitals and refrigerated shipping containers.
Being made from stainless steel, our shelving is hygienic, easy to clean and being made from stainless steel it has a high resistance to corrosion.
We’ve put together 3 handy kits of food grade shelving for you, this first kit fills up 1 side of the container, the second kit fills up both long sides of the shipping container, and the final kit 3 fills up both long sides and the front end (non-door end) wall.
Meets the requirements of HACCP as required by the Food Standards Agency. HACCP is the Food Standards Agency approved preventative food safety system that guides operators of food businesses to look at the methods they use to handle food stuffs and it introduces a range or procedures that ensures the food they produce is safe to consume.
To rack 1 side of a 40ft refrigerated shipping container, the optimum shelving width is 900mm. if you want to achieve the maximum shelving capacity inside the container, However bigger racks may offer better value if your looking to fill the space with quality shelving for the cheapest possible price, but more free wall space will be left over.
These racks are intended for use in refrigerated shipping containers being used for static storage in the foodservice industry. It is not intended that these racks are to be used to help you ship your goods abroad in refrigerated shipping containers.
The internal length of a 40ft reefer is 11480mm meaning you’ll need a total of 12-shelving bays for one side of the container. This will leave about 680mm of space at the door end of the container providing you start the racking off flush with the closed or non-door end of the container. The depth of the shelving is 525mm.
