5m x 2m Quick Build Flat Pack Storage Container

Product Description

Our latest range of ‘flat pack’ units are our Quick Build storage containers that are designed and manufactured in Germany. They offer a fast and secure solution for garden storage, business storage, building site use and industrial storage use.

These units are made from durable reinforced galvanised steel, delivered flat packed and can be assembled in a matter of minutes by two people without the use of any tools. They are a great alternative for use in areas where standard shipping containers can’t be delivered.

There are 4 jack rings on the container enabling it to be lifted by crane or it can be moved by fork-lift using the metal runners on the bottom of the container. The metal runners also provide ventilation beneath the unit.

The 0.8mm sheet steel is hot-dip galvanised with this layer being an average of 10microns in thickness and the floor is an OSB/3 panel that’s 18mm thick and has a load bearing capacity of 500kg/m².

The OSB/3 panel is for use in structural applications in humid areas in accordance with EN 300 and is guaranteed pest free (IPPC standard).

Our quick build range of storage containers offer exceptional value for money and the Best-Post joints come with a 10-year anti-corrosion warranty.

The double doors are fitted in the 2m side as standard and this is fitted with a profile cylinder lock and solid shoot bolt for protection against theft.

Our Quick Build storage units have been certified for quality and safety and have been awarded a GS Mark. The GS mark is recognised worldwide and provides customers with the confidence that they are buying a quality product that’s been tested and certified to meet the quality and safety requirements set forth in the German Product Safety Act (ProdSG, in short).

If required, the units can be stacked 3-high.

As with all containers, general maintenance should be carried out to maintain the life of the container and we recommend you check the physical structure of the container for dents and scratches and if needs be clean and touch up damaged areas on our Quick Build storage units using a zine rich paint to prevent corrosion. Clear the roof of debris, twigs and leaves.
