The Bulldog CT330 secure door lock for shipping containers is a highly effective deterrent that has been awarded ‘Secured by Design’ – the only form of Police approval for products in the UK.

These bulldog container locks clip onto the container securing the doors. The lock can be switched from one container to another to lock the containers up, ideal for hauliers who move containers for other people, and sites that load or unload a number of shipping containers.

Secured by Design is the official Police initiative the combines the principles of ‘designing out crime’ (from products) with increased physical security. The Secured by Design initiative can be applied to a whole range of products including our secure galvanised sheds through to windows and doors on homes.

The CT330 container lock is made in the UK and is simple to fit and can easily be moved from container to container and can be locked without the use of a key. This heavy-duty lock is fully case hardened and resistant to hacksaw and bolt cropping attacks. The Bulldog CT330 features a drill and pick resistant lock and the product has been attack tested and approved by SCM (Stichting Certificering Motorvoertuigen). The lock itself is a very secure 10-pin plunge lock with an anti-drill centre pin. The 10-pin plunge lock offers over 1 million key combinations.

The Bulldog CT330 is used by many fleet operators to secure shipping containers held in their premises and very handy when rotating containers.

This is one of the toughest products available to protect against cargo theft. Made from case hardened steel, the container lock measures some 75mm in width and is 6mm in thickness and when in-situ, it prevents the container doors from opening by tying one locking rod on each door to the other.

There are multiple holes along the length of the lock to allow for varying distances between the door locking rods.

In addition to be accredited with Secured by Design, the CT330 shipping container lock has been tested and approved by KIWA, one of the world’s leading testing, training and consultancy service companies. Receiving KIWA approval offers customers additional assurance that when they buy the CT330 shipping container lock, they are receiving a product that has been thoroughly tested.

For fleet and multi-used applications, we can supply multiple Bulldog locks that can be operated with the same key.

To provide a further visible deterrent, the locks can be provided with a tamper evident seal.
