Product Description
We have one used 40ft HC available in our London depot. This unit is older (around 30 years old) than our standard used stock (usually around 15 years old). Due to the age we are discounting this container by around £400 compared to our standard used 40ft HC. The photos above are of the exact container we have on offer.
We are selling this unit in its original colour, and it does have some graffiti on the cargo doors. This container is an excellent, cost-effective storage option, especially for shorter term projects. High cube containers offer amazing value, with a capacity of just under 2700 cubic feet. At 9ft 6 high, this storage unit has an extra foot of height than standard (DV) shipping containers. High cube containers are a popular choice for customers who need the extra height, or those that want to run a forklift through their container.
For added security we can also fit a shipping container lock box to the cargo doors. A lock box protects your container from forced entry. It prevents attack from jimmying padlocks and cutting tools. A lock box will need a padlock to secure the unit. We recommend our insurance rated squire padlock, which has been designed to work with shipping container lock boxes.
This storage container will be fully checked over before it leaves our depot and any repairs necessary will be done. As with all of our containers, this will be covered by our 12 month wind and watertight guarantee. If it were to spring a natural leak in it’s first 12months, let us know and we will come and fix it free of charge. Any work we undertake is also then guaranteed for another 12months.
The container will remain unpainted, and cosmetics are not guaranteed. As a used container, there will be surface rust, dents and scratches. If you do require a shipping container that looks smarter than this or our standard used containers; we would recommend checking our our 40ft HC one trip shipping containers. A one trip container is as close to new as you can get in the UK, having only done one journey from China to the UK. They will have minimal cosmetic damage and you can expect a much longer life span from a one trip container.
