6 Metre Galvanised Steel Flat Pack Storage Containers

Our galvanised flat pack storage containers are great storage units for a wide range of applications. The major bonus versus a shipping container is that these can be built almost anywhere, including places where we can’t deliver a ready-built shipping container, (locations that aren’t accessible for our delivery trucks, e.g. back gardens, fields, tight church yards and more). These 6-metre flat pack storage containers arrive flat packed in individual panels that can be carried into position. (please note the weight of the floor panel when considering if you can move it into position and how many helpers you will need)

Main features include:

• Easy To Build. you will need a socket set, a screwdriver, a spirit level and some helpers to build this. All parts, nuts, bolts, locks etc are included.
• Secure. They come with 2x 5 cylinder locks as standard.  There is an additional locking bar and padlock option if you feel you need an extra level of security on these.
• Colour options. Available in green or grey powder coating.
• Built in features. The design includes built-in ventilation, roof gutter/drainage system, and stainless steel door hinges and comes with a host of custom-designed extra options including levelling feet, forklift feet, folding steel ramp, insulation kits and more. • Guaranteed wind & watertight
• Stocks held in the UK
• All instructions are provided (and please check out our ‘how to build’ video below which shows off these flat packs in detail, plus this also includes a few handy tips it building one of these yourself). Instructions are easy to follow.
• Optional insulation kit for condensation control (ideal if storing fabrics or textiles, polished furniture, foodstuffs, stock to go into retail or other potentially moisture-sensitive items)
• Speedy delivery & assembly available. We will deliver this ex-Birmingham depot, generally no later than a week from point of payment.

To assemble the unit, you will need a  socket set with a 13mm and 19mm socket, plus a screwdriver. All nuts, bolts and assembly instructions are provided. Some of the panels are very heavy (weights listed below), so you may need a good team of people  / equipment to make moving easier.

For demounting and relocating the units in their flat-packed condition, we suggest you only use the original packaging whenever possible. Most importantly keep the transport bolts handy for re-use if this is your plan.

This 6-metre flat pack storage container is ideal for several light industrial or domestic applications. These units are man-portable (minimum 2 people per panel) and are ideal for a range of hard-to-access locations such as gardens, courtyards and other enclosed outdoor spaces.

These units are new ex-factory, very smart, solid and secure, quick and easy to install and, for the quality, come in at an exceptional price.

Made from 0.60mm galvanized steel panels with box profile corrugations, strengthened with a galvanized steel frame. These units are solid and sturdy and offer an excellent level of protection for anyone wanting to secure their stuff.

How heavy is each panel?

This is a common question from our customers when buying a flat pack unit. We would suggest that at least two people carry each panel at a time to be safe. Below is a chart for each of the panels:

Prices exclude delivery, delivery charges for the 6-metre flat pack storage containers to UK mainland addresses can range depending on location.

Out of our Birmingham depot, we deliver on a small truck directly to you. If we have the stock available, this can be at a few working days to around a week notice. Please note we do offer an assembly service for an additional cost – if you would like your flat pack container assembled for you on your site, please ask.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer deliveries on these to Northern Island or any Islands, we can deliver to any mainland address that can include to a ferry company for onward delivery if needed.

Collection available if preferred from our warehouse in Birmingham. Collections can only be undertaken by a truck, with a bed larger than the flat pack you are purchasing.
