Product Description

These shipping container smoking shelters are made to order in a number of our depots nationwide. They are made from cutting down brand new one trip 20ft or 40ft shipping containers to size. Finished in marine grade paint inside and out, with your choice of colour, these offer fantastic value compared to similar sized ‘off the shelf’ options.

All shipping container smoking shelters come with seating or a bench and a wall mounted cigarette bin. The floor is coated with a “non slip” paint – we did originally provide a non-slip rubber floor internally, customer feedback was that our current option is a lot easier to maintain if cigarette stubs are rubbed into the floor itself – this way you just need a new coat of paint every year or so instead of a new non-slip floor every time)

Supplied with the original front end (non-door end) of a container and original corner castings at one end, we then fit lifting eyes on the front end to enable our crane equipped delivery vehicles to place this down on your site. We can also add, on request, a second fork pocket if necessary at an additional charge.

This is only an example unit and if required we can alter the specification to include electrics or pretty much any other feature you might require, we can make bigger shelters for anyone needing to house a large number of smokers, or we can quote to make shipping container smoking shelters from one trip (new) shipping containers for a longer life and neater overall appearance.

As standard, these are supplied with two 50% side openings apart from the main opening, however as these are largely built to order we can often modify the specs for your own use with minimal if any additional cost. (Please be advised that latest advice suggests that a smoking shelter MUST have 50% of the sides of the structure open, but we can make the side openings as large or as small as you require providing you were using it for any other purpose and not as a smoking shelter).

These new smoking shelters are made from one trip shipping containers, Whilst they are repainted you may expect the occasional minor dent or similar consistent wit the one trip containers’ initial trip over from the far east. More info below.

Please be advised that these are sold as ‘one trip containers’ and are not brand new. All of our shipping containers are built in the factory in China or the far east and have done 1 trip into the UK since new. Some minor cosmetic wear may be evident from this initial trip. Minor dents and scrapes are reasonably common, as are tire marks inside your container where a fork lift truck or similar may have unloaded goods from inside the container.
