Product Description
These shipping container smoking shelters are made to order in a number of our depots nationwide. They are made from cutting down a larger used 20ft or 40ft container to size before converting it into a smoking shelter. Finished in marine grade paint inside and out with your choice of colour externally these offer fantastic value compared to similar sized ‘off the shelf’ options, they are extremely sturdy and they are made almost completely from recycled materials (its usually just the paint and the cigarette bin that’s new).
All shipping container smoking shelters come with seating or a bench and a wall mounted cigarette bin. The floor is coated with a non slip paint or a paint with non slip treatment – we did originally provide a non-slip rubber floor internally, customer feedback was that our current option is a lot easier to maintain if ciggy stubs are rubbed into the floor itself – this way you just need a new coat of paint every year or so instead of a new non-slip floor every time)
Supplied with lifting eyes on the top 4 corners of each smoking shelter we can deliver and place this on your site and its ready to go. We can also on request add side or rear fork pockets if needed
This is only an example unit and if required we can alter the specification to include electrics or pretty much any other feature you might require, we can make bigger shelters for anyone needing to house a large number of smokers, or we can quote to make shipping container smoking shelters from one trip (new) shipping containers for a longer life and neater overall appearance.
As standard these are supplied with 50% open sides apart from the roof, ie a full open front, 2 sides that are 50% window, and a fully enclosed rear. (Please be advised we will only manufacture 50% open sides to conform with recent legislation)
We have seen an incredible take up of these units over the past 12 months and at present lead times may be up to and over 2 weeks as some depots are already building these non stop. We do not currently offer rental on this equipment but we may consider rentals for long term contracts.
