Product Description
A ventilated 20ft container is recommended for storage of products that require airflow, such as timber, volatile chemicals or dry foodstuffs. They can also be used as work space for artists, fabricators or woodworkers. Ventilation means that toxic or unpleasant fumes and smells don’t build up in the shipping container.
Our shipping container louvre vents are available in many sizes and designs (see below), they include bird mesh to prevent pest intrusion. They are manufactured from extruded aluminium alloy with a slimline blade on a 38mm pitch. This offers excellent resistance to rain whilst still maintaining 50% free area. Flanges are supplied un-punched and the depth is approx 45mm.
The two most popular sizes of vents are 350mm x 350mm and 500mm x 500mm, but all the following are available if they suit your needs better:

We can fit as many vents as you may need in a ventilated 20ft container, and can position them wherever you would like. For the example pictured vents are at the closed end, meaning that when the doors are open there is excellent airflow through the container, perfect for use as a workshop.
As with all containers we sell they are guaranteed to come in a good structurally sound condition with good doors, door seals and floor guaranteed. All our containers are checked prior to sale and when sold for site storage use come with a 12-month guarantee against natural water or weather ingress. Built from Corten (COR-TEN A Grade) steel, any rust that does form on these shipping containers is non-porous (it won’t let water through the rust layer) meaning they will take an extremely long time to rust away.
