Product Description
Our flat pack chemical storage containers are the perfect unit for small storage of liquids or hazardous chemicals. These units are a cost -effective alternative to converted shipping containers of a similar sizes. As flat pack units they are also easy to deliver to hard to access areas that a shipping container couldn’t reach.
These chemical stores are ideal for batteries, paints, oils or hazardous chemicals.

Mesh Floor and Vent
These units come complete with a suspended wire mesh floor atop a bund. This bunded floor catches any spills and contains them within the container. By containing the spills, this avoids ground and water contamination.

Forklift Pockets
Fork pockets are also available on some of these units. The forklift pockets allow for easy transportation on site. The pockets are designed for empty lifting.
Linking Units
If you need a larger unit than these, they can be linked with other units of the same type to create a wider or longer unit. The units can only be linked in one direction. Linked units cannot be lifted.
Easy Assembly
To assemble these units, all you need is a socket set & screwdriver. All nut and bolts are provided with the unit. Assembly instructions are also supplied. It may take you a few hours to build if this is your first flatpack.
With certain units, we can also offer an installation service.
Construction Materials
The side walls and roof panels are made from a 0.6mm galvanised steel. These panels are strengthened with galvanised steel frame sections at the edges of each panel.
The door is also made from 0.6mm galvanised steel and has a powder coated finish (RAL3000). The doors have stainless steel hinges and 2x 64mm euro deadlocks.
These units are not fire rated.

We work with two different depots and depending which one we are using for you delivery will either be via a 26-ton hiab lorry to kerbside or via a 4×4 truck + trailer. If one of these is more suitable for you, please let us know otherwise we will quote the most cost-effective option for you.
Some sizes, colours and ranges of flat packs are only stocked in certain depots. If you require a particular unit, please let us know which and we will quote from the best depot.
All deliveries are Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm.
We are only able to deliver within Mainland UK. All deliveries are quoted with kerbside offload.
Shared Load Hiab Delivery
Our shared load delivery vehicle is generally a 26-tonne hiab equipped vehicle that is 12.3ft in height and 34ft in length. On occasions, an additional 20ft long trailer may be attached to the vehicle. Please check your site can accept the longest vehicle configuration.
The truck will need to stay on hardstanding ground at all times. There also needs to be sufficient room for the crane vehicle to setup and offload.
With these shared loads lead time can be up to 3 – 4 weeks for in stock items.
4×4 + Trailer Delivery

These are dedicated deliveries to your site only. You may need to help offload the unit from the trailer. Depending on the size of the unit you purchase you may need 2 or 3 people on site to help handball the panels off. If this is not possible, please let us know and we can arrange for an additional person to be sent to help offload the panels.
Lead time is around 7 – 10 working days for in stock items.
Installation is also available with this option.
Collection
All collections of units must be made on flatbed trucks or trailers that have a larger bed than the unit being collected. Failure to have the appropriate vehicle may result in being turned away. If you are unsure, please get in touch to avoid disappointment.

General Information
Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified when you place an order. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Budget Shipping Containers shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.
Risk of loss and damage of products passed to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.
A failed delivery will be charged for or we will drop the flat pack at a nearby location and you will have to manually move the unit panel by panel to the assembly point or re-deliver on a flat bed vehicle at additional cost and you will have to move the panels as suggested.
As we offer two slightly different ranges of flat pack containers, this does mean they also offer slightly differing shelving options. If you would like shelving for your flat pack container, please let us know how much of the unit you would like to shelve, along with how many tiers and what UDL (uniform distributed load).
Between the two ranges, we can offer 30kg – 75kg UDL. Depending on the units we are quoting we will quote as close to your desired configuration as is possible with the unit.
The maximum number of shelves that can be accommodated per pair of uprights is three.
The shelves are sump shelves, designed to capture any leaks. The shelf uprights are the vertical supports that hold the shelf arms in place onto which, you place your sump shelves. The shelf uprights simply snap into place so, no need to drill holes in the unit.
