New shipping containers are painted with a high quality rubberised container paint applied under factory conditions. Over time this can get damaged as used containers are moved about or exposed to the elements. Repainting a shipping container can greatly improve its appearance and also extend its useful life.

Some other suppliers use RAL 6005 in place of 6007. While RAL 6007 is slightly more expensive we prefer the darker colour as it shows dents less well.
