3m Galvanised Flat Pack Storage Container, Birmingham
These two 3m flat pack galvanised storage containers were delivered in early 2022 to our customer in Birmingham. These flat pack stores are built on site, making them suitable for hard to reach places. They are also modular, meaning you can add to them if you need more storage space with a linking kit.
They are smaller than standard shipping containers, so if you are limited on space but need the extra storage, these are a cost-effective alternative.
Flat Pack Container Delivered to Birmingham
We offer a range of flatpacks and in this case the customer went with the standard flatpack storage container. These flat pack containers come with a single end opening door as standard, but can be upgraded to a side opening door available in the select sizes. They can also come powder coated in select colours, in addition to the galvanised variant as shown in this example.
This customer opted to build it themselves but we do offer a service, at an additional charge, where we can build it for you on delivery day.
More Specialised Flat Pack Options
In conjunction to the standard flatpack, we also offer an insulated flatpack. This stops the condensation from building up on the inside. We also offer insulation kits – either option is great for protecting the contents of the storage container.
Other variations include flat pack offices. These can serve as some smart looking temporary or permanent buildings for basic office needs.
Flat Pack Deliveries With Access Issues
Sometimes, when customers enquire with us they intend on purchasing a shipping container. One thing that some people don’t foresee are potential access issues that come with a standard shipping container. Due to the flat packs coming in individual panels, they are able to be moved by hand to exactly where you need the unit. This makes them very good for domestic use, for access into gardens, garages or warehouses.
In this case, the customer wanted extra storage in their garden – so flat packs are a simple cost-effective option.
Flat Pack Container Accessory Options
As seen in the photos the containers need a level, solid surface to be built on. For this we do offer a set of four levelling feet, they simply fit under the container and can be adjusted to level. If the units aren’t level, you can find that the container twists and the doors will be hard to open and close.
These aren’t the only accessories you can purchase with your flatpack container. Other options include a locking bar with padlock, a folding steel ramp and more.
