The walls are vacuum bonded sandwich panels with a powder coated finish on the galvanised steel beneath. Steel thickness is 0.63mm and the powder coated finish is moss green.
The exterior roof covering is 0.60mm thick powder coated box profile galvanised steel with 2 integrated gutters for water disposal from all 4-corners of the kiosk with additional drain points along the guttering. The internal roof section is made from vacuum bonded sandwich panels (same as the walls).
Roof snow loading is 0.75kN/m2 – evenly distributed.
The chassis and frame are made using hot dipped galvanised steel whilst the corner posts are constructed from 1.5mm cold formed DKP steel.
DKP steel is cleaned using hydraulic acid. This helps prevent corrosion of the steel. Normal un-treated steel will start to corrode withing 1 – 2 years whereas DKP steel will last for decades. Typical examples of where DKP steel is used includes traffic lights, light poles, train rails and electric poles.
Again, all surfaces are moss green powder coated.
The floor is made of OSB3 board that’s covered with 2mm PVC linoleum. The floor section has no additional insulation. Flash point is B1 with a smoke density Q1. Floor loading is 150kg/m2 – evenly distributed.
The door frame is made using cold formed powder coated galvanised steel and the windows are uPVC double glazed with sealed units.
The electrics are an optional extra and all are all surface mounted and must be installed by a qualified electrician.
This security gatehouse/kiosk is not designed to comply with building regulations. All panels are interchangeable allowing you to configure the door/window layout to suit your requirements.
