Container Insulation Kits
Our container insulation kits are an ideal solutions for any customers wanting to prevent condensation build up inside a container. See video at the bottom of this page to see how they work.
The kits come in pre-cut panels, with ‘industrial sticky back plastic’ on the back, and a roll of thermal tape to seem up all the joins between panels inside your storage container.
They are very easy to fit. It should take 2 people approx. 1 hour to fit their first 20ft kit, and about 30 mins after some practice. Only tools required: a broom (to help you fit this to the ceiling) and a decent set of kitchen scissors (to cut the tape but to help you trim the kit if required or desired).
Our insulation kits are made in the UK and manufactured with a layer of laminated aluminium on the outside to hep reflect heat, and a high-performance bubble warp type material inside to trap air and reduce heat conduction. These kits are lightweight but tough, approx. 4mm thick and perform similarly to 55mm of polystyrene insulation. They will take a lot of force to rip or tare. In the event this happens you can use the thermal tape provided to tape up any hole and the kit will still perform just fine.
We have been selling these since 2015 without any returns or issues based on the product performance.
We recommenced these kits for all types of condensation free storage needs. If you plan to have an office, or a space where people will be living or working inside for long periods then in these cases we will recommend a more expensive and better performing ply line and insulation job. For customers who don’t mind a bit of condensation build up overnight (e.g. if storing plastic furniture, or outdoor play items for a school) then you may not require an insulation kit or any condensation treatments inside your storage container!
