Converted 40HC Shipping Containers for Machinery Storage
In early 2025 we delivered two 40ft high cube shipping containers to one of our regular customers, an engineering specialist in Slough. They required additional space to store some of their machinery, for this they needed the containers converting to suit their project.

Generally for conversion work is completed in our Liverpool or London yards. Converting a shipping container is a great way to ensure your container suits your needs. This customer opted to have their shipping containers ply lined and insulated. This prevents the build up of condensation, which wouldn’t be ideal for the heavy machinery as it would potentially rust. Whilst our insulation kit also accomplishes this, when dealing with heavy machinery it might rip. It is however a very viable option when dealing with lighter items.
Another conversion that the container had was the inclusion of a fire exit. This was again due to the use of heavy machinery, and makes the containers much more safe in the instance of an accident.

A one trip container is the most aesthetically pleasing option, due to it only having done on one trip with the shipping lines from China. This means it is the newest you would be able to get it in the UK. As cosmetics mattered to this customer, they decided to go with this option.

40ft Shipping Containers Delivered To Slough
This customer went with a staggered delivery. There was a month gap between the two deliveries. This was due to the customer joining the two containers together by connecting a corridor between the two. The staggered delivery allowed them time to have this corridor put in, ready for the second containers arrival.
When delivering a shipping container We always like to go over access as there are some requirements for us to make a delivery.
