Product Description
3 Metre Galvanised steel flat pack storage containers
This 3 x 2-metre flat pack storage container is ideal for several light industrial or domestic applications. These units are man-portable (requires a minimum of 2 people) and are ideal for a range of hard-to-access locations such as gardens, courtyards and other enclosed outdoor spaces.
Ideal for use as tool sheds and a variety of domestic storage applications, additional small storage for smaller retail operations with spare outside space, Secure storage for event stallholders and event managers, temporary sheds, shelters, workshops, paperwork archives and more.
These units are new ex-factory, very smart, solid and secure, quick and easy to install and, for the quality, come in at an exceptional price.
Made from 0.60mm box profile galvanized steel panels, strengthened with a galvanized steel frame These units are solid and sturdy and offer an excellent level of protection for anyone wanting to secure their stuff. they come with 2x 5 cylinder locks as standard and these also come with an additional locking bar and padlock if you feel you need any extra level of security on your container.
Our flat pack storage range has recently been subject to a ‘makeover’. They now feature rounded die-cast aluminium roof corners, stronger wall panels, an improved double-locking system and stainless-steel hinges. The best part? No increase in prices.
The new stainless-steel hinges not only look good, but they also improve security too and the door and frame are made from thicker steel. We now also offer an optional insulation pack that fits directly onto the profiled panels within the unit which don’t need any additional fixings to install them.
To assemble the unit, you will need a 13mm and 19mm spanner, a socket set with a 13mm and 19mm socket, and a screwdriver. All nuts, bolts and assembly instructions are provided.
If you have linked units together, please do not lift or re-position the units. Single (un-linked) units may be lifted using a forklift.
For demounting and relocating the units in their flat-packed condition, we suggest you only use the original packaging whenever possible.
The roof section has 2 integral gutters to move water to the corners of the container, The door is pre-mounted (using stainless steel hinges) and is secured with a double locking system.
The door is 1250mm wide, hinged on the right and opens outwards.
The floor is made from a galvanized steel frame with composite OSB boarding.
Side door option on flat pack storage containers
These flat pack containers do come with a side door option, you can see an example of a side door container in one of the final product images.
Side doors are an option for all sizes in our flat pack range, but these are not straightforward for us to offer. Things to note.
- Side doors can fit into either side of the container
- The doors are always right hand hinged and open outwards.
- The side doors do not affect the operation of the roof drainage
- We sometimes hold small volume of side doors in stock in the UK (so always ask if you want one and we can check what we have available), but these will commonly go onto our next factory order. When we order these with the factory lead times will be approx. 3 months.

Flat pack storage container options, delivery info and prices
Prices exclude delivery, delivery charges for the 3 x 2-metre flat pack storage containers to UK mainland addresses range from £100-£300 depending on location and based on a part load (i.e. we try to group our deliveries to keep the costs down for you) faster-dedicated deliveries are available but will be costed individually. Delivery for accessories is free when ordered with the main product, otherwise, charges will apply. Access to a large rigid vehicle will be required. Delivery is to kerb-side only.
The delivery service we offer on these as standard works on a ‘3-week rotation basis’ ie the warehouse has a single delivery truck, and we send out a full load into one part of the UK each day. This may be Norfolk and Suffolk day 1, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire day 2, Yorkshire day 3 and so on. Once we have your order and payment in we will authorise the warehouse to set up your container for delivery. They will then tell us in 1-02 working days when they next plan to have a delivery truck in your area, and it will commonly be one day over the following next 3 weeks.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer deliveries on these to Northern Island or any Islands, we can deliver to any mainland address that can include to a ferry company for onward delivery if needed.
Collection available from our warehouse in Surrey if preferred. Collections can only be undertaken by truck.

Shelving guide for flat pack containers
Our shelving guide is designed to assist you in selecting the right number of shelving uprights and arms to suit the weight (UDL) per shelf that you require. Please note that the weight range for this shelving is 30 – 60kg UDL per shelf – UDL is Uniform Distributed Load. The shelves are sump shelves, designed to capture any leaks. The shelf uprights are the vertical supports that hold the shelf arms in place onto which, you place your sump shelves. The shelf uprights simply snap into place so, no need to drill holes in the unit. The maximum number of shelves that can be accommodated per pair of uprights is three. For both the 1000 and 1900mm shelves, you’ll need two shelf uprights per shelf and 2 shelving arms when storing 30kg UDL per shelf. For storage of 45kg UDL, you’ll need three shelf uprights and three shelf arms per shelf. And, for storage of 60kg UDL per shelf, you’ll need four uprights and four shelf arms per shelf.
Prices
Shelf uprights – £20.00 each Shelf arms – £11.00 each Sumped shelf (1000mm) – £30.00 each Sumped shelf (1900mm) – £45.00 each So, for 1-tier of 1000mm shelving you’ll need 2 x shelving uprights, 2 x shelving arms and 1 x 100mm shelf. This will cost 2 x £20.00 + 2 x £11.00 + £30.00 = £92.00.
Shelving configuration
For the 2 x 2m flat pack, you can only use the 1900mm wide shelves (1 per side and 1 x 1000mm at the closed end). For the 3 x 2m flat pack, you can use the 1000mm wide shelves (2 per side and 1 at the closed end). Or 1 x 1900mm shelf per side and 1 x 1000mm wide shelf and the 1000mm wide shelves at at the closed end.
