Vinyl Branding for Shipping Containers

We are very happy to now offer vinyl branding for your shipping containers. Branding is very important for companies so why not shout about it on your shipping container?

For the smartest finish, we recommend applying the vinyls to one trip containers. As one trip units are as close to perfect as you can have in the UK, the vinyl sticker will apply more smoothly than if the same were done to a used containers. With used container, you are likely to have many dents along the container walls which can disrupt the finish of the branding.

We can offer 3 different vinyl branding options for your unit, depending on the finish you want and your budget.

Cut Vinyl

This option is the most cost-effective. Each letter / image is cut out onto a self-adhesive vinyl and individually applied.

Full Side Wrap

This option covers the side of the container with one large vinyl sticker.

Full Side Aluminium Hoarding

This option offers the smartest finish. The logo is printed directly onto a 3MM hoarding grade Aluminium Composite board. The board gives the best finish as the branding will not be direct on the corrugated steel of the container. This means the image will not be distorted by the shape of the shipping container.

Please note – the corrugations of the steel can distort the vinyl logos from certain angles (except from the Aluminium Hoarding option)

Logos

In order to make the vinyl stickers, we will need a high quality image of your logo.  If you don’t have one available, the art department can redraw logos at an additional cost.

Delivery & Application

These options can be sent out as a self-fit option. However, we highly recommend opting for our fitting service. While it seems simple, sticking the vinyls onto a shipping container is often trickier than most customers find.

The times that self-fit options have been sent out, customers are routinely back on either with issues with the stickers due to poor fitting or asking for the fitters to come out.

Delivery and fitting is available across Mainland UK. Pricing will vary depending on the location of the container. Please get in touch for a quote on this.

Application Requirements & Conditions

In order to apply the stickers, our fitters will need access to power on site for their equipment.

The ideal time to apply the stickers is during the summer as the days are dryer and warmer allowing for a more straightforward application. However, the vinyls can still be applied in colder, damper weather – it may just take more time!

If the containers can be stored inside a building this can also help the fitters to apply the branding, but we do know this will not be the case in most orders!

Lead Time

The vinyls are generally in production for around a week, with another week or two to have fitters to site to complete the work.
