Product Description
Our 10ft DNV offshore containers are generally built for oil & gas platforms and offshore use. These are not really for general ‘onshore’ use.
We can supply DNV offshore containers with certified lifting slings.
These containers are designed to withstand the toughest environments in the world and are made of stronger steel. The corner castings are strengthened in DNV containers to protect cargo even more than a standard container. All our offshore containers are built to meet DNV 2.7-1 certified standards and we make available copies of production and sling test certification (where applicable). They are completely traceable constructions.
Typically offshore or DNV spec units are only needed when shipping items to oil rigs and similar offshore installations and when your customer / regulations require it. These containers are approx. 5x the price of a normal shipping container. We do not advise using static site storage (or unless you need one!)
10ft DNV containers are also available in open top variations (complete with tarpaulin).
20ft DNV containers are available in more variations such as Tunnel DNV containers (double doors at both ends), and even half height DNV ‘basket’ variations.
Please contact us for pricing and availability of 10ft DNV offshore containers. We recommend pre-ordering containers where possible because stocks are usually limited of specialised offshore units. Delivery can be anything between 2-6 weeks from point of order. We may have to move the container in from the continent if we don’t have it in the UK at point of order.
Refrigerated DNV Spec Containers
Refrigerated DNV spec containers are also available in 10ft and 20ft variations but these are very rarely in the UK.
