10ft High Cube Shipping Containers (One Trip / New)

These one trip (new) 10ft high cube shipping containers are a new product for us and, whilst they are at a slight premium over our standard height (8ft 6 high) these 10ft containers, are ideal for storing oversize items that won’t fit inside a standard height container. These, along with our one trip 20ft high cube shipping containers, are very popular with building sites wanting to securely and anonymously store tall plant equipment and machinery (e.g. diggers)

Unfortunately the major shipping lines & leasing companies do not use these containers in their own container fleets, and as such used 10ft high cube containers are extremely rare – especially as original ISO containers, a lot are made from cutting new 20ft high cubes in half or splitting used 40ft high cubes down to make refurbished 10ft high cubes. Yes, we do make refurbished 10ft shipping containers in both 8’6” and 9’6” options and this is about your most cost effective way to get a 10ft high cube but these are typically made to order with a circa 14 day lead time. The refurbished range if ideal for a lot of static storage options. These new 10ft high cubes also offer exceptional long term value and are rated to be lifted when loaded with goods, so these also work well for a wide range of specialised applications.

Cut down 10ft high cubes

As briefly mentioned above we can split new high cube containers to make new 10ft high cubes. However as you can imagine these do come in more expensive than the container we’re cutting them from (as we have to do the extra work – so often a 10ft HC will be more than a 20ft HC!) Although they will be one trip units if you imagine us splitting a 20ft in half one end will have original cargo doors and a fabricated front end, the other will have fabricated doors and the original front end. As a very specialised item, new 10ft high cube colour choices and available locations will vary. With good notice we can often move stock into a specific area for you. This gives us the best possible availability for an item that may not always be available in stock. You can be assured that everything we sell will meet the specification offered and meet all international standards. Please be advised that these are sold as ‘one trip containers’ and are not brand new. All of our shipping containers are built in the factory in China or the far east and have done 1 trip into the UK since new. Some minor cosmetic wear may be evident from this initial trip. Minor dents and scrapes are reasonably common, as are tire marks inside your container where a fork lift truck or similar may have unloaded goods from inside the container.
