Product Description

A 10ft roller shutter container is a great option for customers who are looking for easy access into their storage container. These units come with the door fitted in place of the cargo doors.

These units also work well for conversions such as kiosks, retail outlets, stalls, bars and much more.

What’s Included

Included in the price is the container itself (a refurbished 10ft). As well as, an 8ft galvanised manual roller shutter

Refurbished Container

A refurbished 10ft container is made by cutting down a larger used shipping container to size. The unit will be repainted to order and instead of fitting doors we will fit the roller shutter.

Used containers are generally around 15years old and will show evidence of their lives on cargo ships. They will have dents, scratches and surface rust. You may also see repair patches, but the units are guaranteed wind and watertight for 12months.

You will have a choice of dark green (RAL6007), dark blue (RAL5013) or dark grey (RAL7016) included in the price. Other RAL colours are available, pricing POA.

Upgrades

Powder Coating

As standard, these roller shutters will have a galvanised finish, however, we can offer powdering coating in your choice of RAL. This is a good option if you are wanting the shutters to match the rest of the container.

One Trip Containers

We can also offer these roller shutters on one trip containers. One trip containers will be in near perfect condition, having only been used once before.

One trip 10fts aren’t a standard size, so will come at premium price. We may be able to upgrade that container to a one trip by cutting down a larger one trip unit instead as a more cost-effective alternative.

Electric Shutters

Electric shutters are also available. These will come with the plug inside the unite and a remote key fob for entry. There is no external connection as standard. However, the standard plug inside is ready for you to have your electrician on site arrange and hook up.

We can also include a double RCD protected socket inside along with a 32amp male blue commando plug outside of the container for easy hook up. This should mean you do not need a full RCD to be installed in your container for the shutter to operate.
