20ft Disabled Access Sanitary Container

Product Description

A sanitary container is a great addition for many sites. These sort of units work well for camping sites, schools and building sites. They help provide a clean, smart and functional space to offer to guests and staff.

They can be made in different configurations to suit your needs, whether that be just one gender, or with disabled access. For this unit, the spec allowed for two disabled access cubicles.

We do also offer a range of classic line modular sanitary units. These are a slightly more basic offering, although still very high quality construction and smart looking.

Specification

These plus line sanitary blocks are made to order and you can work to design a layout and design that works for you. For this example unit, the unit was RAL9002 (grey white).

All plus line units come with sunken electrics. This offers a very smart, tidy internal finish. The plumbing is also hidden behind the walls. A lot of customers like this option as it gives the unit a more permanent look, higher end finish. The electrics are GB standard (230V/32A/3pin.

2x steel outward opening personnel doors are fitted in the side. 2x small windows were also fitted to allow a little natural light within the cubicles.

Insulation

• Walls – PIR foam 110mm
• Roof – 80mm PU-foam, 120mm mineral wool
• Floor insulation – 110mm PIR foam, 50mm mineral wool
• Partition wall – mineral wool 60mm

Toilet Cubicles

Each of the cubicles come with:

• Hand wash basin (wheelchair friendly), with undersink water heater.
• Pull cord alarm
• Disabled toilet & hinged support rail
• Hygrostatic controlled ventilator & 500W heater

Modular Buildings

This unit can be used as a single unit on its own or can be used as part of a larger modular building. It can be joined with other Containex Modular units, that can be more sanitary units (shower blocks, toilet blocks) or office, canteen spaces to name a few.

You Will Need

Electrical connection – you will need to hook up the unit for lights, heater, water heater etc. We recommend you get in a qualified electrician for this.

Waste and fresh water connections – You will need access to a fresh water supply and a main sewer connection for waste water in order to use the kitchenette. We recommend you have a qualified plumber sort these connections.

Base – A foundation plan will be provided along with the technical drawings. You will need to ensure a flat, hardstanding base for the container to sit on.

Delivery & Siting

We will deliver a sanitary unit like this on a rigid or artic hiab truck. This does mean that you will need plenty of space on site to accommodate space for 45ft-65ft long vehicles. They will also need to remain on hardstanding ground in order to offload, and have no overhead obstacles.

These plus line units do not come with fork pockets, so the unit will need to be put straight into position or moved with a larger crane after delivery.
