20ft Open Sided Chemical Storage Container

Product Description

These new one-trip 20ft open sided chemical storage containers have never been seen in the UK before. These will be ideal for people wanting to store chemicals that may cause issues when there are spillages. The unit comes complete with a suspended floor grate and release valves to drain out any liquids.

Chemical Spill Flooring

The floor is designed to catch and hold any hazardous chemicals that could potentially spill or leak, preventing the chemicals from escaping the container. This container is also designed to include a set of full side opening cargo doors along the side to give as much access to the container as possible. This is perfect for if you wanted to store items that are otherwise too large to fit in through the standard set of cargo doors on the end of the container.

Regulations covering the specs required for your chemical store will vary depending on the precise chemicals you are storing and the quantity, however these units will be viable for the vast majority of customer requirements –  These containers are tested according to procedures described in the ISO 1496/1 and the Classification Society’s requirements.

This chemical store can hold up to a staggering bunded capacity of 1.74m³ (1740 litres)

Container Quality

As with all of one-trip containers, these have all done one trip overseas to get to the UK. A few small imperfections are to be expected from its initial trip, but all containers are checked on arrival so you are guaranteed a structurally sound container that will be sold in a seaworthy condition and all of our containers will always come with our 12 months guarantee against natural water or weather egress. These containers will come with a circa 5-year CSC plate so they are also ideal for exporting goods (external conversions may make CSC plate void so please ask when enquiring).

Conversion options.

We are able to convert these containers to your requirements, with these containers the 350mm x 350mm louvre vents will be a great option for added ventilation to the container, other sizes available upon request. We also offer electrics packages.
