Product Description
Our refrigerated shipping container shelving is made of stainless steel and is ideal for use in hygiene important areas such as commercial kitchens, cold rooms, hospitals and refrigerated shipping containers.
Being made from stainless steel, our shelving is hygienic, easy to clean and also has a high resistance to corrosion.
These racks are intended for use in refrigerated shipping containers being used for static storage in the foodservice industry. However it is not intended that these racks are to be used to help you ship your goods abroad in refrigerated shipping containers.
Shelving Specification:
This racking meets the requirements of HACCP as required by the Food Standards Agency. HACCP is the Food Standards Agency approved preventative food safety system that guides operators of food businesses to look at the methods they use to handle food stuffs. HACCP also introduces a range of procedures that ensures the food they produce is safe to consume.
Each bay is 1800mm high x 525mm deep. They are available as 900mm, 1200mm and 1500mm wide.
How much shelving do I need for my container:
The below options will provide maximum shelving capacity for your container. However bigger bays may offer better value if your looking to fill the space with quality shelving for the cheapest possible price, however more free wall space will be left over.
20ft Refrigerated Container
To rack one side of a 20ft refrigerated shipping container, the optimum shelving width is 900mm.
You can fit 6x 900mm wide shelving bays to fill one side of the container. You can also fit one 1200mm wide pay on the non-door end.
40ft Refrigerated Container
To rack 1 side of a 40ft refrigerated shipping container, the optimum shelving width is 900mm.
You can fit 12x 900mm wide shelving bays per side of the container. You can also fit one 1200mm wide pay on the non-door end.
