These one trip (new) 40ft high cube shipping containers in anthracite grey, offer terrific long term value for any storage applications. Compared to a used container they will last significantly longer, they look a lot smarter and will hold a better resale value in case you want to sell these in 10-20 years. All new 40ft high cube shipping containers come with a circa 5 year CSC plate if being used for export, Bamboo & Wood composite floor throughout, and heavy duty cargo doors with a rubber seal and forklift pockets.

These 40ft high cube shipping containers offer fantastic quality and they look clean and sharp, ideal for use in any yard where you want to keep a clean tidy appearance. All of these containers come with a high security lock box (padlock cover) as standard and they come with at least 12 vents.

The high cube option is popular with customers who need the additional height, or others who may want to run their forklift truck in and out of the shipping container. (fork truck sizes vary of course, but a lot more models can fit inside a high cube container versus a standard height container).

If you are looking for a permanent or long term storage solution (10+ years), we typically recommend you to seriously consider a new container. At this sort of time span, they start to offer the best overall value. Routinely 40 high cube containers are the best value option for storing or shipping “a lot of stuff”.

Please be advised that these are sold as ‘one trip containers’ and are not brand new. All of our shipping containers are built in the factory in China or the far east and have done 1 trip into the UK since new. Some minor cosmetic wear may be evident from this initial trip. Minor dents and scrapes are reasonably common, as are tire marks inside your container where a fork lift truck or similar may have unloaded goods from inside the container.

These new 40ft high cube shipping containers will include forklift pockets – Forklift pockets can only be used to move around a 40ft shipping container when it is empty. The fork pockets are not designed to be used to lift when loaded with any sort of cargo. If you do lift a 40ft shipping container from the fork pockets when its loaded you will likely bend the container and write it off in a matter of seconds.  They are an option and not a standard feature and not all of our suppliers have fork lift pockets built into their shipping containers any more.
