40ft Roller Shutter Container (Liverpool)

Product Description

A 40ft roller shutter container is a great option for customers who require access through the side of their container. Having these two roller shutters in the side of the container gives almost full unobstructed side access. It is ideal for storage use where you may be loading the container with a forklift or pallet truck. This option is also a fraction of the price of a full side access 40′ shipping container.

Roller shutter containers are also very popular for conversion projects. They can be used in many projects, like cafes, bars and retail space conversions.

What’s Included

The price of these units includes the container itself as well as 2x galvanised electric roller shutters fitted in the side. There will be a plug inside the unit but no external connection. The shutters work on standard 32amp set ups.

The plug will be ready for you to hook up to your sites electrics once the container has been delivered. We’d recommend having an experienced electrician connect the unit.

The shutters work with a remote fob for entry and are ideal for when loading with forklift or pallet trucks as you will not need to get out of the truck in order to open the doors. The fobs have roughly 5m range.

The container will keep its original cargo doors as a second entry point into your container. They will also have a lockbox fitted on the door for security.

Refurbished Container

Refurbished shipping containers are used containers with a fresh repaint and a lockbox fitted. These units are around 15years old and will show evidence of their life. You will see cosmetic damage like scratches, surface rust and dents. Like all of our containers these refurbished units will also be covered by our 12month wind and watertight guarantee.

You will have a choice of dark green (RAL6007), dark blue (RAL5013) or dark grey (RAL7016) included in the price. Other RAL colours are also available, pricing POA.

One Trip Container

A one trip (new) container is a great option for customers looking for a smart, neat unit. These have only been used once to transport goods to the UK and are in near perfect condition.

Pricing may vary if a colour is specified. Repaints are also available POA.

Upgrades

Powder Coating

The galvanised roller shutters can also be powder coated in your choice of RAL. This can mean matching the rest of the container, or making it stand out more!.

Standard RALs (6007, 5013 & 7016) will be an additional £350 +VAT per shutter. Other RALs are available, pricing POA.

Double RCD Protected Socket and Commando Plug

We can also add a double RCD protected socket inside of the container, along with a 32amp male blue commando plug externally. This means connecting to site electrics is even easier! You also shouldn’t need a full RCD installed in your container for your shutter to operate.

This will be £195 +VAT additional to the container.
