Product Description

Shipping container racking and shelving is ideal for tidying up storage containers and for getting the most from your available space. Easy assemble design means shelves can be assembled at the desired heights. With metal legs and chipboard shelving as standard (other shelf options available on request) these are top quality, heavy duty shelves ideal for a wide range of industrial uses.

These shelving units can come in a huge range of size options, with 3 or more shelves per rack as required the shelves can also be fixed where you want within the rack itself. We can, when required, even build a custom sized rack to ensure a perfect fit in your shipping container when needed.

We have put a few suggested options and setups together for you below but this is by no means the full range. Please feel free to contact us if you would like us to arrange a price for a custom racking setup. All shelving is delivered separately and offered as a self-build option. These are very simple to build (requires a rubber mallet) and should take 2 unskilled people less than an hour to build their first shelving unit, dropping to around 15 minutes per rack when up to speed. Full build instructions are supplied with each unit, and with multiple units we include free tie plates (so each rack can be fixed to any rack next to it for added stability)

Most shelves are in stock and available for delivery within 3 – 5 days from point of payment.

Shelving Kits

Shelving Specification:

All of the below kits have been designed with shelving units that come 455mm deep and with 4 shelves per shelving unit.

Along the sides of your container we use 3 or 6 shelving racks down each side of the shipping container (3 racks down one side of a 20ft shipping container, 6 down the side of a 40ft shipping container). Each heavy-duty shelf unit is 1830mm wide, 1980mm high and 455mm deep each. Each shelf can take up to 610 Kgs max capacity, giving you the confidence these shelves will be suitable for an array of potential uses.

In a 20ft container, 3 of these racks side by side fill 5490mm of a 5890mm internal length, so you have 40cm / 400mm of free space remaining

In a 40ft container, 6 of these racks take up 10980mm of a 12010mm long container, leaving you with 1030mm free space remaining.

For the option that includes a rack along the front (non-door) end of the container, this rack is 1220mm wide, This, then leaves approx 200mm of free space along the front-end wall between this single free-standing rack and the 2x 455mm deep racks coming out from the side walls. We can buy in a larger rack and cut it down to size if a perfect fit is required (at additional cost).
