20ft High Cube Tunnel Containers (One Trip / New. Double Doors each end)

Product Description

Our one trip (new) 20ft high cube tunnel containers are, while at a slight premium on our standard height (8ft 6 high) 20ft tunnel containers, are ideal for storing oversize items that won’t fit inside a standard height container. They have original heavy duty container doors with lock boxes at each end, ideal if you want to drive an item in for storage and drive it out again easily.

These, and our standard 20ft high cube shipping containers, are very popular with building sites wanting to securely and anonymously store tall plant equipment and machinery. The benefit of an tunnel container, with double doors at each end, is of course you don’t need to pull out the large awkward items that are always in your way blocking the item you need which right at the back! You just simply open the back doors!

Unfortunately the major shipping lines & leasing companies do not use these containers in their own container fleets, and as such used 20ft high cube tunnel containers are pretty much non-existent. For storage use they are a lot cheaper than the side opening 20ft shipping containers. We also see a number of conversions into boiler rooms, garages and even chemical stores.

We have a number of slightly different ranges of 20ft high cube tunnel containers available including ones with additional vents, specific lashing points and even non-porous, Eco-friendly bamboo floor options (very hard wearing and ideal if you may get the odd oil spill or similar inside your container).

This video tour should give you a good idea what to expect from a one trip shipping container. The container in the video is a standard height container with doors at one end only. This is not identical to the range advertised on this page, but looks, appearance, operation and general condition can be considered to be very similar.

Please be advised that these are sold as ‘one trip containers’ and are not brand new. All of our shipping containers are built in the factory in China or the far east and have done 1 trip into the UK since new. Some minor cosmetic wear may be evident from this initial trip. Minor dents and scrapes are reasonably common, as are tire marks inside your container where a fork lift truck or similar may have unloaded goods from inside the container.

Please note whilst we have tried to be as accurate as possible, some measurements (notably internal measurements) can vary slightly with the development and modernisation of manufacturing techniques over time. We recommend considering a circa 1 inch (2.5cm) tolerance. Where possible we have given a range on known variations in dims between ranges but we can’t guarantee this to be totally accurate for all ranges. If you have a specific sized problem or item to load that’s near these dims please double check with us in advance and if needs be we will get someone to measure the exact container for you.
