Budget Shipping Containers now offer the 40ft shipping container kiosk!

After a fantastic shipping container conversion for a paintball company earlier in the year, and after much interest since, we have decided to offer this popular container kiosk layout for all types of industries and shops and are happy to offer it as a ‘standard’ design available to purchase.

For each shipping container kiosk we ask you to tell us what you want and where you want it, and we build the unit customised to your requirements. This specific conversion involved cutting the 40ft container down to 32ft in length, with the addition of 2x security double-shutter access windows and standard cargo doors on the end of the container for entry, painted in their specific company colours and fitted with a lockbox and deadlocks for extra security.

Of course, all other customisation options are available as we want to ensure every customer gets exactly what they need. So if the window heights need to be specific or if you’re after added extras such as personnel doors, electrics, roller shutters, lining out internally with insulation options, high security windows with shutters, electrics, lights, plumbing, heating, even a foot spa its all very possible. However, if you’re on a tight budget you might want to take some of this work on yourselves, plenty of these refurb option can be tackled by a keen DIYer.

Each 40ft shipping container kiosk is guaranteed wind and water tight, structurally sound, and all donor units are sourced from shipping lines or from leasing companies. If any repairs are necessary they are carried out in our depot to a high standard before any modification work or painting is done, so you are assured of a clean, dry and odour free container (CDOF) with a fresh look. (Freshly painted units may come out smelling a bit of freshly applied paint of course!)

The shipping container kiosks shown in the photos were provided for a paintball company. Their requirements were “secure storage and serving solution for customers, 32ft in length, in a remote location so must be very secure, painted a specific shade of green” – all boxes ticked, and the container was delivered on a crane equipped vehicle to position it exactly where they needed it.

As you can see the hatches are designed to fold outwards to allow any menus/prices to show on the inside of the hatches. Perfect for conversions for sports clubs, tickets offices, fast food outlets etc.

In this specific container we also added 2 very different types of lock meaning any would be intruder would need heavy cutting gear of some description to break into a container like this. with the container location getting heavy cutting gear to the container itself would likely be a very hard task.
