40ft Shipping Containers (Refurbished)

Product Description

Our refurbished 40ft shipping containers are supplied nationwide. Essentially we take our already sound wind and watertight used 40ft units, add a lockbox and repaint it your choice of colour. It will keep its original cargo doors and original front end. No messing, no-nonsense, just wind and watertight guaranteed, freshly painted, secure storage!

Refurbished shipping containers are typically 10-15 working days from point of order to delivery although lead-times can extend in busier times. All refurbished 40fts will be fitted with a high-security lockbox (padlock housing) and are given a complete external repaint* in a marine grade paint (your choice of basic RAL colour; whites, light greys, creams and very light colours may/will be a premium as we have to double coat.)

Please be aware these are made from second hand 40ft containers, so the cosmetics of the original containers will vary. You should expect some dents, creases, minor surface rust under the paintwork and repairs to the container chassis. You are guaranteed a structurally sound, clean looking, wind and watertight container with good working doors, door seals and a solid workable marine plywood floor throughout.

The inside will be clean and tidy, and as with every container we sell it comes with our 12-month wind & watertight guarantee – however, realistically we suggest you should be expecting many more years of quality use from a container like this. We would typically suggest the repaint alone will add a few years extra life to one of these 40ft shipping containers over the basic used (unpainted) option.

Unfortunately, prices are not fixed nationwide and will vary between depots in the UK because of geographical location.

Security

We would suggest purchasing one of our insurance rated Squire padlocks. With a lockbox and a padlock, it gives you peace of mind that your container is highly secure.

*We do repaint over the original container colour so we can’t guarantee exact shade matching at this price. We can add additional primer layers and topcoats to ensure we get a better shade match for you but this does add significantly to the cost. Anything is possible, but the refurbished specs we offer do (in our view) offer a good quality option to match most customer’s needs at the best possible price.
