20ft Cladded Office Container

Product Description

We are now offering these fantastic timber cladded office containers that have been professionally converted from a traditional 20ft shipping container (other sizes are available). This product would be perfect for industrial parks, building sites, garden offices, hobby rooms, man caves, workshops and even a spare room!

This range of converted and cladded shipping containers are classed as temporary structures and they should be exempt from both planning permission and additional business rates. (Please check with your local council just to be safe!) for a commercial or industrial customer.

This specific unit comes with double glazed windows with lockable anti-vandal shutters, fully lined and insulated walls and ceiling, professionally installed electrics, consumer unit (RCD) and external hookup. (You will require a qualified electrician to install at your end), Electrical points and a heater.

You can choose the different panel options internally, a popular one is a wipe clean white melamine surface which is beneficial to customers who want to use this unit as a catering facility. These cladded office containers are built to a very high specification and have fantastic potential to be utilised in  a range of uses and industries.

Whilst we can customise the design to your own needs very easily, this example unit comes with the following specs:

• 1x Lockable high security personnel access door, supplied with 3 keys
• Fully insulated walls and ceiling with either Rockwool or Kingspan material
• Lino Flooring
• Choice of beige or white 11mm melamine wall coverings.
• Electric points and heater included as standard.
• 2 x Internal ceiling lights
• Choose where you want your doors and windows mounted
• This is an example spec that can be modified as required. (e.g. more windows, electrical points, bathroom, kitchen etc)

As with every container we sell, this comes with our 12-month wind & watertight guarantee, and cosmetics are never guaranteed as these are used containers (new/one trip shipping container option available at an additional cost) Our network of crane equipped trucks can lift this off into the exact position you require across the U.K.

All shipping containers with electrics from Budget Shipping Containers can come with a Transportable Building Electrical Installation Schedule Certificate – this is an Electrical Test Certificate saying we’ve fitted, plugged in and tested all components on your container at our premise and checked they work (this excludes the ‘electrics pack’ which is a self-fit option on our flat pack containers but these components are manufacture tested and only supplied brand new) You will require a qualified electrician to connect all containers to your own electrics once on site and should you need a further Electrical Certificate specific to your site, the electrician you have installing will be able to provide this test certificate (Formal electrical test certificates are only valid at the address they are undertaken, so we cannot provide this certificate prior delivery.) As standard the Electrical Test Certs we supply will be a carbon copy of the signed document typically inside the container. Copies may be available on request.

At Budget Shipping Containers, we have the capability to modify and adapt this product to match your exact wants and needs. So, if you’re after something similar to this but with a slightly different conversion spec (different doors, different number of windows or different window positions, electrical points mounted in specific places etc.) then we can very easily custom build you a similar unit. For large scale projects or bulk purchase, it may take a little longer to complete but we can assure you of the highest quality of service throughout the process.

Whilst we make the majority of these to order, the pictures enclosed come from 2 previous and very similar examples we have done in the past. Viewings are welcomed in our Manchester depot, where these containers are built, but this may have to be worked around when we have another one of these being made up for a customer.
