A roller shutter serving hatch is a brilliant way to allow unobstructed access to serve from a converted shipping container. They are easy to use and look very smart. These roller shutter serving hatches are very popular for shipping container bars, catering units and ticket kiosks.
We generally fit half height roller shutters when they are to be used as serving hatches. However, we can offer full height roller shutters if you want full access to your container.
Manual and Electric
We can offer both manual and electric half height roller shutters. Manual roller shutters are generally a slightly more cost-effective option. This option is ready to use once the container is on site.
Electric roller shutters are even easier and work with a key turn to open and close. You will need to have an electrician connect the shutter to mains electric once on site.

Customisation
Our standard size for these roller shutters is around 8′ wide. We can offer custom sizes if you need something smaller or larger for your conversion, as well as fitting multiple shutters into one container.
As standard we will keep these as a galvanised steel finish, however, we can offer a powder coated option. Powder coating can be done to match the rest of your shipping container so it offers a cohesive, sleek finish to your converted container.

Other Serving Hatches
