Product Description
A shipping container serving hatch with shutters is a great way to convert your container into a cafe, bar, ticket booth or any other unit you may chose to serve customers from. A serving hatch gives unobstructed access to serve and pass through items.
Serving Hatch with Shutters
A frame is fitted in the container wall, then the shutters are fitted. The shutters are hinged on the sides so open out onto the container wall. Having your serving hatch open this way is a great option as you can use the inside of the shutters for some kind of advertisement, menus etc.
A weather guard is also fitted above the hatch to protect the container and keep it wind and watertight. The hatch will come with internal locking bolts so your container will be secure when not in use.
These hatches are bespoke so spec may differ slightly between depots. Please let us know if you need something specific from your hatch and we can ensure that we supply the correct thing.
Paint Matched
We will paint match the hatch to the container they are being fitted to. In refurbished containers, they will be repainted along with the rest of the container. With one trip shipping containers, we will paint match to the original colour. This can mean there is some small differences between the new and original paint. If we are fitting these serving hatches on a used container, we will paint match to the original colour of the container, however the container will be pretty faded so will not ‘match’.
