These shipping container smoking shelters are made to order in a number of our depots nationwide. We mainly supply these from either our London or Liverpool conversion depots. These shelters offer fantastic value compared to similar sized ‘off the shelf’ options. They are made from shipping containers so are very sturdy and long lasting.

They are a great way to provide a dry, sheltered area for your staff and visitors to use as well as helping to keep your site clean of cigarette ends.

Smoking Shelters

These units are cut down from larger shipping containers and will come with lifting eyes and/or corner castings on the top corners to allow these to be lifted and moved via crane.

Both our refurbished and one trip shelters have a non-slip paint coating the floor. This is easy to maintain in the cases where cigarette stubs are rubbed into the floor itself. With this paint option, all you need to do it give a fresh coat of non-slip paint to. Originally we used a non-slip rubber flooring but this was less popular as it was hard to keep clean and intact.

A bench seat will also be included in the shelter, along with a wall mounted cigarette bin.

We repaint these units in your choice of RAL (unusual colours may cost extra). This gives you the opportunity to have your container match your brand colours or blend into surroundings.

As standard, these shelters are supplied with two 50% side openings, as well as the main entrance. Please be advised that latest advice suggests that a smoking shelter MUST have 50% of the sides of the structure open. However, we can make the side openings as large or as small as you require providing you were using it for any other purpose than a smoking shelter.

Refurbished Smoking Shelter

A refurbished shelter will be made from a larger used shipping container which is cut down to size. Used containers are not very nice cosmetically, so we repaint them in your choice of RAL to smarten them up.

As a lot of the container is cut away (and therefore a lot of the dents and damage), a refurbished unit is a great way to have a cost-effective smoking shelter that still looks tidy and smart.

One Trip Smoking Shelter

We make these units from new / one trip shipping containers and cut them down to size. One trip containers are as close to new as you can get in the UK so you are assured of a smart and tidy shelter. They will also have a longer life-span.

These are also painted in your choice of RAL colour.

Optional Extras

• Fork Pockets can be added to the smoking shelter so that you can move the unit on site easily yourself.
• Lighting and heaters can also be included to provide a unit that can still be comfortably used in winter months or late nights.
• If you’d like a cost-effective and easy option for lighting, you may also consider our motion sensor lights. These do not need electrics to work, you will just need to recharge them every now and then. Great for customers on a budget or where there is no electricity on site.
