Budget Shipping Containers have recently supplied and delivered a refurbished 20ft shipping container, with extra doors and windows, to Battle Archery Ltd in Bristol. With the intention of being used as an office, supply/equipment store and, knowing Britain’s weather, an emergency rain shelter! This green 20ft shipping container looks brilliant on site and in action!
Battle Archery is a new and exciting sport, which is tactical and extremely fun for all. Its a cross between Archery and Paintballing. Using bows and foam-tipped safety arrows, this action-packed game offers multiple mission scenarios and the ultimate archery experience. Each party is given full training and support by the team of experienced and friendly marshals allowing beginners and advanced archers alike a safe and fun experience. Typically all users will start in the training area before being let loose in a variety of mission scenarios hosted on the site.
Based at the Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park, Bristol, and accommodating anywhere between 20 and 50 people per session, a shipping container with enough space and which suited to their theme was essential. After liaising with Battle Archery’s main men Simon Liu & Tristan Bawn it quickly became apparent a used container (in its original shipping line liveries), although structurally sound and wind and water tight, would be a little too ‘rustic’ looking and wouldn’t provide the access required.
After offering the options, accessories and conversion options available, a much smarter refurbished 20ft shipping container was decided upon with an extra lockable personnel door and security shutter window. Refurbished containers come of course repainted in the clients choice of colour, so the outdoor-ey green RAL6007 was a great option (click here for our RAL colour chart)
