50/50 Split Office And Storage Container Conversion in Dagenham, Essex
Back in 2023 we delivered a 50/50 split office/storage container to a customer in Dagenham, Essex. The customer came to us with a need for a comfortable workspace and storage area but with limited space available on site. This custom built solution allowed us to cater exactly to our customers desired specifications in to a single 20ft one trip shipping container.
The container was split into two 10ft spaces using an internal divider wall. The office half had melamine lining, lino-flooring and a wall mounted heater. Electrics were fitted in both the office half and storage half.
The container was fitted with an inward opening personnel door and security window with a shutter.

Melamine Lining for Shipping Container Conversions
Melamine lining is one of the most premium ways to line a shipping container. The main selling point of melamine lining is that it gives a very smart aesthetic to the inside of any container as well as being ‘wipe clean’. This feature is particularly attractive for those within the food/catering industry and those who require a sleek workspace.
Melamine lining can come with various thicknesses of insulation beneath it, ranging from 6mm to 18mm. The insulation behind it will help regulate the temperature within the unit, making it a much comfier office space.
Electrics & Lighting in Shipping Containers
For the office section of this unit, lighting, plugs and a heater were fitted. For the storage half we also fitted lighting so that this side could still be used in later hours.
With this container they had two double sockets fitted in the office along with standard strip lighting. As our offices are made to order, electrics can be modified to suit.

We delivered this specific container in Spring, 2023. We lifted it off on site for the customer with a Hiab lorry.
