Product Description

Hazardous chemical stores are a cost-effective way to safely store you dangerous substances. While we do have a standard spec we offer, these units are made to order and customisable. Regulations covering the specs required for your chemical store will vary depending on the exact chemicals you are storing and the quantity. It is your responsibility to ensure that the spec is suitable for what you are storing

Chemical stores are also available in smaller sizes such as our 10ft hazardous chemical storage containers and 8ft hazardous shipping containers. We can also convert refurbished containers for a more budget friendly version.

Flooring Options

As standard we offer two variations of flooring for these chemical stores. Both options are designed to catch and safely hold spilt liquids. They come with a bund / lid and a drain plug so you can easily and safely clean up any spills.

Chequer Plate Bund

This option is easy to clean after spills. There is a lip fitted at the cargo doors which stops any spilt liquids from escaping. There is also a outlet valve fitted in this lip, which you can use to safely empty the spilt substances from the container.

Raised Mesh Bund

This option has a mesh grate fitted over the top of the bund. This version lets any spilt chemicals pass through the grate and catch in the bund. This means there are no puddles of dangerous chemicals that could have people slip over.

Ventilation

As standard we fit 8no. 300mm x 300mm louvre vents in a 20ft chemical store. We fit four at high level as well as four at low level, this allows any gases that are in the container to escape.

We can fit more or less vents on request, as well as different sized vents.

One Trip Container

As with all one trip containers, these have all done one trip over from China. They may have 1 or 2 small imperfections consistent with this initial trip. They are checked on arrival so you are assured of a structurally sound unit. All our containers come with our 12-month warranty against natural water or weather egress. With the heavy duty container doors comes a high security lock box, and by adding one of our shipping container padlocks or our insurance rated Squire padlocks, they can also become one of the most secure chemical stores available.
