20ft Tunnel Containers (Used/Refurbished Double Doors each end)

This 20ft tunnel container has double doors at either end and has been converted as such by our conversion depot in Manchester. Available for delivery pretty much nationwide at a cost to the buyer but realistically Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham areas would be the most cost effective. We also have options of new 20ft tunnel containers nationwide which may be of interest to customers a little further afield.

It was cut down from 40ft shipping container in November and, as you can see from the photos, includes the original container cargo doors at one end as well as another set of cargo doors fitted on the open end (always worth checking if you are ringing around. Some cut down conversions offer ‘flat panel’ style doors rather than original container cargo doors) Each set of doors has been fitted with a lock box (padlock housing)

This is the only one we currently have available, ready to go and because its been given a complete external repaint in green marine grade paint, is classed as a refurbished shipping container, rather than a standard used container which would come in its original shipping line liveries.

Tunnel containers are very popular for a variety of storage applications. Ideal for pallet storage and a lot cheaper than the side opening 20ft containers we also offer. We also see a number of conversions into boiler rooms, garages or even chemical stores.

Please note whilst we have tried to be as accurate as possible, some measurements (notably internal measurements) can vary slightly with the development and modernisation of manufacturing techniques over time. We recommend considering a circa 1 inch (2.5cm) tolerance. Where possible we have given a range on known variations in dims between ranges but we can’t guarantee this to be totally accurate for all ranges. If you have a specific sized problem or item to load that’s near these dims please double check with us in advance and if needs be we will get someone to measure the exact container for you.
