Shipping Container Ticket Office
A couple of years ago the Warehouse Project superclub in Manchester contacted us as they were in need of a ticket office for their night club at Victoria warehouse, Manchester. They wanted a number of service windows to be cut out, making access points for party goers to collect tickets for the event. They also wanted a “rustic and industrial” look for the shipping container ticket office to fit in with the aesthetics and feel of the old industrial warehouse.
We provided them with a 20ft used shipping container which in its previous life was used by a Chinese Shipping to move cargo around the world. We then modified the container by adding a personnel door and shipping container windows.
With this bespoke shipping container ticket office we needed to shorten it to 17ft long to fit into a specific gap. We also added in the ticket windows with secure covers made from the original container side wall paneling that were cut out to ensure the ticket office can be closed up and secured when not in use.
The serving windows were fitted with perspex windows with a gap at the bottom to allow cash and tickets to be passed, a small shelf and we added a personnel door entry into the container. This shipping container conversion was, by weight, made with 95%+ recycled materials.
